Shevington Surgery is a ‘training practice’. This means that doctors in various stages of training to be a GP spend some months with us in order to gain the experience they need to become family doctors.
As part of their training they need to video some consultations for assessment purposes, but you will always be asked to sign a consent form giving permission for your consultation to be used in this way. You may of course, refuse permission if you do not wish your consultation to be used.
We are also a nurse training practice for BSc students, cytology students and nurses new to general practice and also offer an apprenticeship scheme for receptionists.
